Accreditation and Recognition
SSI acquired AdvancED accreditation in June of 2015. AdvancED is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that accredits primary and secondary schools throughout the United States and internationally.
AdvancED was formed in 2006 by the consolidation of the pre-college division of two of the U.S. regional accreditation organizations; the Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools(NWAC), and the Council on Accreditation and School of Improvement of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools(SACS CASI). In 2012 the Northwest Accreditation Commission(NWAC) joined AdvancED. At the end of the 2010-2011 AdvancED reported that it served more tha 27,000 institutions including 3,000 that were engaged in school improvement but not yet accredited. The organization has headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia and Tempe, Arizona.
SSI acquired NIPSA accreditation in February of 2015. The National Independent Private Schools Association, NIPSA, was founded in 1983 by a group of California school owners. NIPSA addresses the unique challenges and opportunities inherent in proprietary school operation. NIPSA shares much of the same educational agenda as you would in any school, private or public. Most important, NIPSA also shares a similar motivation: to provide children with the best education possible.

SIWA is Seoul’s premier international women’s organization, consisting of women from over 40 countries, including about 25% from Korea. For more than 50 years, SIWA has been a place where women from around the world could meet, find friends, learn about each other’s culture, and improve the lives of those less fortunate in Korea. One of those most important things that SIWA does is to contribute to Korean society. Through our biggest annual fundraiser, the SIWA and Diplomatic Community Bazaar, and SIWA Spring Charity Gala event, we have contributed over two billion won to Korean charities over the years. SIWA dedicated Welfare Committee makes sure that the money raised goes to worthwhile organizations and the money donated is well spent.
